Japan has come under fire after it emerged Tokyo granted refugee status to just 27 people in 2015, despite the country experiencing a record number of applications. The government needs to do more to help refugees, activist groups say.
A record number of 7,586 people requested asylum in Japan last year – a 50 percent increase from 2014, according to preliminary figures released by the Justice Ministry, and cited by newspaper the Asahi Shimbun. It was the fifth year in a row that Tokyo had witnessed a growth in numbers of those seeking refugee status.
Although less than 1 percent of cases were approved, the 27 people given refugee status is more than double the number awarded in 2014, when just 11 were granted asylum.
Nepalese accounted for the largest proportion of last year’s applications with 1,768, followed by 969 Indonesian applicants, 926 from Turkey, 808 from Myanmar and 572 Vietnamese. There were also five applicants from Syria.
Of those accepted in 2015, six were from Afghanistan, three each came from Syria, Ethiopia, and Sri Lanka, while two people each from Eritrea and Nepal were accepted.
The Justice Ministry put the surge in applications down to Japan relaxing its immigration rules, which has led to a large increase in the number of people applying from Indonesia. Jakarta and Tokyo now have a visa waiver program in place.
“There are many applicants who enter Japan with short-stay and other visas and repeatedly file refugee applications to live and work in Japan,” a ministry official said, as cited by the Asahi Shimbun.
Aside from the 27 given asylum, a further 79 people were given special permission by the justice minister to remain in the country.
However, the small number of those accepted was condemned by rights groups, who say that Tokyo should be doing more to help those fleeing conflict zones.
“In Germany, the number of applicants last year was 1.1 million, and about half of them are expected to stay,” said Eri Ishikawa, chair of the board of the Japan Association for Refugees (JAR), according to the Japanese Times.
A young, female ‘No Borders’ activist working in a migrant camp on the France-Italy border remained silent about her gang rape by Sudanese migrants for over a month because “the others asked me to keep quiet.”
Colleagues are alleged to have said that reporting the crime would set back their struggle for a borderless world.
The ‘No Borders’ activist had dedicated a month of her life to helping migrants. Her group was stationed between Italy and France in Ponte San Ludovico in Ventimiglia when the atrocity occurred, according to reports from local papers La Stampa and Il Secolo XIX, and now reported in the major Italian national Corriere Della Serra.
One Saturday night, as loud music played at a nearby party, the woman was reportedly trapped in a shower block set up near the camp in a pine forest know as Red Leap.
A gang of African migrants allegedly raped her there, and her cries for help are said to have gone unheard because of the music.
La Stampa reports that the woman, around 30 years of age, would have reported the horrific crime were if not for her fellow left-wing activists, who convinced her that if the truth got out it could damage their utopian dream of a world without borders.
But Corriere Della Serra also reports that some of her fellow activists are now accusing the woman of reporting the rape out of “spite,” because her group was withdrawn from the camp following a separate controversy.
The town of Ventimiglia, where the alleged crime occurred, has been a flashpoint in the ongoing migrant crisis.
On the 30th September around 50 migrants and 20 activists were cleared from an illegal camp there. The activists organised a protest, whereby 250 migrants conducted a “sit in” on the shoreline.
Yesterday, Osman Suliman, 20, a Sudanese asylum seeker who had been in the UK for just five months, appeared in court.
He was charged with the rape of a Nottingham woman last weekend, the 26th of September, The Nottingham Postreports.

The Human Relief Foundation (HRF) has been giving aid to the migrant camp with the belief that its occupants are fleeing war-torn countries like Syria.
However, the charity decided to pull the plug after its deputy chief executive Kassim Tokan recently paid a visit to Calais.

The shocked deputy claimed he discovered unwanted clothing and food “being dumped and burnt” by migrants.
Mr Tokan said: “I thought they have valid reason, but most of them they haven’t any valid reason… they want to go [to the UK] to get money, a better economic situation.”

He also said that 95 to 97 per cent of migrants in the camp were young, fit men – some of whom allegedly told him they were happy to stay in the camp.
Mr Tokan added the HRF will now turn its attention to helping Syrians trapped in neighbouring Labanon and Jordan, claiming migrants at Calais no longer need the help.

He told ITV: “They have enough food, they have enough clothes and we have seen clothes everywhere thrown.
“I think we need to find other places. These people come from certain countries, which are safe, everything is there, they can work, but I don’t know why they came here.”
They welcome the predators uncritically, sacrificing their daughters and wives on the altar of political correctness.
Swedish school authorities are warning their girls to keep their knees and arms covered for fear of this fresh influx of refugees.
Who might they be, these refugees? People from China, Japan, Canada, the United States?
You win if you guessed Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, and mostly, as of late, Syria.
Teachers are saying this new influx into Sweden, which is already the rape capital of world due to a previous influx of the same kind, brings with it men who simply have a different way of looking at girls and women. They are not used to women who – well, they simply are not used to women, period.
Where they come from women are toys, playthings and birthing machines.
So the Swedes are warning their kids to be extra careful because these new people come from a place where women get no respect. They expect to be abused.
They expect to be raped. Raping is normal in that part of the world.
That is not how I read it in the paper just the other day, but since I lost that particular clipping readers will please rely on my interpretation – for in fact the Swedes never used such terms as “abuse” or “rape.” That would be un-Swedish and so un-European. Political correctness must be observed.
Nor will they admit that nearly all these asylum-seekers are men without women.
So what they say is that these new refugees, mostly from Syria, bring with them a different culture – and it is a culture that must be respected.
Therefore it is not for them to adapt to us – it is for us to adapt to them. When they rape, it is our fault. They can’t help themselves.
They see a woman – and she is theirs for the taking. These well-fed lusty men simply cannot control themselves and their thrill-seeking ways.
It is their way of life and they cannot be blamed.
So say the Swedes, but by use of European Talk, which means using metaphors and avoiding any truth that stares you in the face, like the EU’s plague of rapists.

Europeans are ready to make the switch from the Bible to the Koran; from the belief that women are to be honored and protected to a custom that treats women like cattle.
This is your Europe of today, a place being gobbled up by people, among them savages, who know how to prey upon Western heartstrings. Strangely, Israel’s Arabs are having no part of the stampede onto Europe. They seem quite content to stay put. Very strange.

Editor’s comment: Predictably the Muslim critical Israeli News (rutz Sheva) fails miserably at pinpointing the origin point of the immigration problem and other issues raised in the article. If the author Jack Engelhard was honest and sincere in his critique of immigration (only Muslims) into Europe and America, he would recognize who’s behind it, who has been pushing for it and who has changed the media enough to make this the number one priority.
Instead of refugees crossing stormy seas in a dinghy, then burrowing under border fences and dodging hostile guards, a Swedish group wants them to come to Europe in an easier, safer and cheaper way – by plane.
Refugee Air wants to fly people to Sweden directly from countries bordering Syria like Lebanon, Jordan and Turkey, where most of the 4 million Syrians who have fled their homes and their country are living. Only a fraction have reached Europe.
“The first flight will be in the air before the first snow falls over Stockholm this winter,” the group said in a statement.
People fleeing Syria’s civil war spend thousands of dollars on the dangerous journey to Europe, far more than a plane ticket costs, but airlines prevent refugees from boarding flights because of a 2001 EU directive.
The EU “carriers’ liability” rule makes airlines responsible for the costs – such as deportation – associated with passengers who seek asylum when they arrive at their destination but have their claims rejected.
This means that even those with strong claims cannot travel by air to European countries which would grant them asylum because airlines do not want to take the risk.
Refugee Air plans to start with a single flight to prove the scheme is possible, then hopes to encourage groups in other European countries to do the same thing, said co-founder Emad Zand, a Swedish businessman.
Many refugees trying to reach Europe by other means have died this year, either on flimsy, overcrowded boats or while travelling overland. Police found a truck in Austria last month which contained the bodies of 71 refugees, many of them Syrian.
Administration of school in Pocking, Bavaria sends letter to parents in order to prevent ‘misunderstandings’
A German high school banned revealing cloths and miniskirts this week, fearing the refugees residing in an adjacent shelter.
The administration of the school, located in Pocking, Bavaria, sent a letter to the parents notifying them of additional security measures taken following the opening of the shelter last week, and asking them to make sure their children don’t dress revealingly, to avoid “misunderstandings.”
German newspaper Die Welt reported the gym of the Wilhelm Diess Gymnasium was converted to accommodate 200 Syrian asylum-seekers.
In the letter, sent Monday to the parents, the principal Martin Thalhammer assured them that the refugees, who are expected to stay there till September, were denied access to the school gardens and its buildings during school hours. “The presence of teachers during breaks has also increased,” he added.
Still, the parents were instructed to take precautions and to restrict their children from wearing transparent tops or blouses, short shorts or miniskirts. “This could lead to misunderstandings,” explained the headmaster, noting the different culture of the Muslim asylum seekers. The students were also asked to refrain from staring or taking pictures of the refugees, and cautioned that “derogatory or racial remarks won’t be tolerated in any way.”
The letter provoked a heated discussion and drew much criticism, including from some of the parents – mostly for the restriction of freedom of expression. In response, Thalhammer clarified: “There was never a dress code at this school, and there will not be one in the future,” he told the Passauer Neue Presse. Nevertheless, he stressed that “I have a duty to take care of the children. That’s why I wanted to inform everyone of what is going on at school.”

Despite controlled media coverage pretending that ordinary Germans welcome the nonwhite invasion of Europe, in reality they are opposed to it and want the invaders deported, some German politicians have admitted.
The admission has emerged in the infighting aftermath within the German coalition government’s about turn over its “open borders” policy—even though these same politicians deliberately forced through “refugee” policies which they knew the German people opposed.
The current German government is comprised of a “center-left” coalition between Angela Merkel’s Christian Democratic Union of Germany (CDU), its sister party in Bavaria, the Christian Social Union in Bavaria (CSU), and the Social Democratic Party of Germany (SPD).
The first indication that this grand coalition had cracked over Merkel’s declaration that Germany would accept “unlimited” numbers of nonwhite invaders, came with the surprise announcement on Sunday September 13, that the German border with Austria was being closed.
Significantly, the announcement was made by the German Interior Minister, and not by Merkel who, as late as Friday, September 11, was still insisting that anyone was welcome in Germany.
However, CSU leader Horst Seehofer, who is also Prime Minister of Bavaria, was the first to attack Merkel, calling her decision to allow the invasion an “unparalleled historical mistake.”
Seehofer told Der Spiegel magazine: “It was a mistake that will occupy us for a long time yet. I see no possibility of putting the cork back into the bottle.”
Then the CSU vice chairman and former Minister of Transport, Peter Ramsauer, told the Bild newspaper that he must “warn against demanding too much. The mood of the population is already nearing tipping point, and we cannot afford that. The public wants it stopped and rejected asylum seekers to be deported. We must not overburden the citizenry’s tolerance.”
German Transport Minister Alexander Dobrindt (CSU) warned that the “limits have been reached, and this message must be unequivocally sent out. We will take a long time to sort out the existing difficult situation. Now, effective measures are needed to stop the influx.”
The controlled media has continually tried to present the German people as welcoming the invasion, relying on images of a few hundred far-leftist fanatics applauding arriving invaders at Munich railway station.
However, both in official opinion polls and on social media, the true voice of the German people has been heard.
The same opinion poll found that opposition to Third World immigration was even higher in Italy (75 percent), Latvia (79 percent), and Slovakia (74 percent).
The German reaction on social media against the nonwhite invasion has been even more stark, and has taken on such proportions that Merkel has personally asked Facebook to act against those making derogatory comments about the invaders.

Abdurahman Massa, from northern Eritrea, is housed with Ayaya Tsinat, 21, in room number two while he waits for his refugee application to be accepted.
The 20-year-old said he does not mind what the building was before, adding: ‘This is good for me,’ he told The Weekend Australian.
Another refugee known as Diaoyre, from Algeria, said he’d been living in the building for one week.
He added: ‘It is good here. Many others don’t even have this.’
The news that the camp, which has basic cooking facilities and bunk beds, would become home to refugees was originally announced in January.

Minister of Justice, Heiko Maas, has had quiet enough of the uppity Germans who have the gall to criticize the ongoing population replacement so last week he sent an open letter to Facebook demanding that the social-media company commence systematically erasing “xenophobic” material.
On Monday Facebook sent a delegation to meet with the Minister who has set forth a plan – namely that a special task force scour Facebook and delete comments deemed inappropriate by the State.
“The goal is to ease identification of criminal statements” – says Heiko Maas to Bild.
The task force’s members are appointed by the government and Facebook, but the the left-wing organization Network against Nazis (“Netz gegen Nazis”) will also be represented.
The network was founded in the year 2007 by the Antonio Amadeu Trust, led by the Jewish-German left-wing activist Anette Kahne who, during the years 1974-82, worked as a secret agent for the East German Security Service known as Stasi.
Today Anette Kahane works as a professional anti-racist and last year proclaimed in an interview with RT that European countries must open their borders and adapt completely to immigrants from the third world.
“You have to really change the policy of immigration inside Europe. This is very important, you have to adopt the educational system and adapt all the self understanding of the states. They are not anymore only white or only Swedish or only Portuguese or only German. They are multicultural places in the world.”
That an ex-Stasi informant will be tasked with monitoring and censoring Facebook has been criticized by the site PI NEWS.

According to Simon Wiesenthal who spent half a century hunting Nazi criminals the Stasi was much, much worse than the Gestapo.

And as John Koehler, author of Stasi – The Untold Story of the East German Secret Police,points out:
“the Stasi spent four decades perfecting it’s machinery of oppression, espionage, international terrorism and subversion whilst the Gestapo lasted only twelve years.”
